iSyte is an independent full-scope Optometry practice owned and operated by Gordon Kennedy and Karen Duxbury.

At iSyte Optometrists we endeavour to make your optical experience a pleasurable one. Whether this is your first visit, or you have been before, we have everything to meet your optical requirements. We will provide you with the best possible advice, products and services to meet your needs.

You can find us at Building 6 on the Joondalup Campus of Edith Cowan University. We offer our services to staff and students of the Joondalup Learning Precinct; in addition, we are able to extend our complete range of services to members of the general community.

About Us

Gordon Kennedy BSc (Hons), FC Optom Gordon graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Optometry in 1975. Moving to Australia after 15 years in private practice in the West of Scotland, Gordon has been registered to practice Optometry in Australia since 1990. Gordon is also a Fellow of the College of Optometrists (UK).
Karen Duxbury
Karen, our practice manager, is able to utilise her expertise to advise you on your optical requirements. Karen is up to date with the latest styles and trends in designer eyewear and, if you wish, can help you with you frame selection
